Structure of the school day

The Orchardside day starts at 8.00 am where all students can have breakfast until 8.45 am.  Our first lesson starts at 9.00 am, with tutor time and assemblies slotted in throughout the week.  The school day finishes at 2.35 pm

Every tutor time has a focus, with Relationship Sex and Health Education (RSHE) being delivered through this period twice a week.  Whole School Assembly is on a Thursday and we end the week with our Rewards Assembly on a Friday celebrating everything from individual successes, attendance and work of the week.

Break and lunchtimes are 15 minutes and 35 minutes respectively, with all students receiving a free school meal.
