Course | The Achieve Programme |
Overview | The programme is made up through delivering a range of units and modules which contribute towards a recognised Prince's Trust qualification. All of the units help pupils to develop skills in key curriculum areas, preparing them to succeed in whatever they choose to do next. |
How will I be assessed | This is an internally assessed course. It is 100% portfolio based. Pupils can achieve the ‘Award’ You will be graded as Entry Level 3, Level 1, or Level 2 – this is dependent on the effort and work you put into each unit. |
What will I learn | Experiencing the world of work - This unit develops learners' skills and understanding of the workplace. This is done through preparing for, attending and reviewing a work experience placement. It is also an opportunity for learners to obtain a work reference which they may find useful in the future. Wellbeing - By undertaking this unit learners will become more aware of their own wellbeing and can focus on different aspects to support understandingâ¯and techniques toâ¯keep it in good condition. Learners will look at their self-esteem and confidence,â¯emotional and physical wellbeing and how to manage situations that may cause stress.â¯â¯ |
Skills and Knowledge | On this course, you will learn important life skills. You will learn how to communicate and work independently as well as in a team. You will learn how to be better organised, how to manage your time, decision-making and leadership skills just to name a few. |
